Wow!
Not knowing it was fathers day... I woke up in the morning(yesterday)
and said to myself, "I wish I could talk with my Dad, it's been a while since I've chatted with him.."
Just moments from getting infront of my comptuer an hour before midnight, I get an email from him.
"Hey Son, it's Dad, give me a Call" and he provided his number, and I called him immediately.
We talked for a while, and I enjoyed every minute of it... for some reason or another... he really made me feel good, and deep down honestly-made me a hell of a lot more happier. You know how Dads are suppost to teach their sons things in life... though my father hasn't been around much, it's great to reconnect with him. We talked about everything, he's very happy right now, and even more so, Lydia his Wife(his Mexican Princess) came on the phone a couple times telling me that my Dad is so happy that I called, and he's smiling so big, and that she hasn't seen him smile like that in a very long time.
I Love my father so much, and he knows that.
I look forward to reconnecting with him.
Great news though, he's moving to Florida!! I didn't even know this until after I moved here myself... so it seems that.. things are finally pickup up and getting better then better.
Me developing a much needed relationship with my Father is what I needed... and being patient, and waiting... it's finally happening. I'm totally thrilled as well as very excited to not only hear his voice but for him to tell me that he's moving to Florida, though still a little father away down here, but he's close... and looking forward to seeing him and telling him in person that I love him.
Aside from that, things are going well! I'm moving to Sarasota for work and hopefully to really get started. I'm excited, thrilled, and very optimistic about the move.
